THE LOCATION:
Truhlárna is a space open to exploration, creation and experimentation located in the premises of a former carpentry workshop in Žižkov, Prague 3. It involves the professional dance community and the community in Prague in its activities and offers a space for creation, residencies, workshops and meetings that support creative development, experimentation and interdisciplinary cooperation.
STUDIOS / REHEARSAL ROOMS:
- The working space (5 x 11 m) with dancefloor is connected with a chill area (5 x 5 m) with kitchen and toilet
- There is also a little yard you can use for thinking or relaxing
ACCOMMODATION:
- According to the agreement.
SERVICES:
- We can offer dramaturgical consultation from our curator team of Studio Truhlarna ( choreographer Tereza Lenerová or theater director Linda Dušková ).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- The space is located in the courtyard, which creates space for undisturbed work and good for concentration.
- It is also possible to use the courtyard space for work.
- In the summer, the space is pleasantly cool, and in the winter, we heat it.
- The floor is spring-loaded and suitable for movement.
- The space is shred with two other artists that have their atelier upstairs in second floor, but they use the same entrance, so they might sometimes interrupt the rehersal with their entrance.
