THE LOCATION:

  • The Club House of Slavonice, built in 1932 – restored in 2013, is an important building in the historical core of Slavonice. From December 2022, the company operates under the new name SPOLKOVÝ DÚM SLAVONICE, a public benefit company. The SDS company offers programs and above all services of education, awareness, eco-friendly tourism, a parent center, a visitor center and a playroom for children. It also runs a cafeteria on the ground floor. Thanks to it all thus takes care of the background of social life. The new focus is on facilities for artists, arts residencies and creative teaching programs.

  • The Club House of Slavonice is located in the Renaissance town of Slavonice, about a kilometer from the Austrian border. Not far away is the famous ceramic settlement Maríž and its wetlands. The whole area has a specific atmosphere and breathtaking landscape of Czech Canada. It is a place of free-spirited cottagers with a weakness for the surrounding nature, who like to return here.
