Farmstudio – association for art and culture, is delighted to announce an Open Call for the 2023 exhibition projects. The projects will be carried out in Farmstudio cultural center, a workplace located in a unique historical site of the early 19th-century farmhouse in the village of Vysoka. The venue is situated in Kokorin natural reserve, approximately 50 km from Prague.
This invitation is open to all artists of diverse disciplines and media (painting, photography, performance, site-specific, land art, audio-visual art, stage design, architecture, and others) who are keen to develop their work, share ideas, and become a part of an inspirational network. Farmstudio provides the opportunity to use its various workspaces (including the gallery, old house, granary, part of a yard, cellars and more), local materials and tools, plus technical and critical support. Farmstudio is flexible how you structure your time and work . The call is open to group projects, a cooperation of various artists or to combinations of individual realizations. Upon agreement, permanent artworks and environment changes are possible. It is possible to come and visit us prior to the residency.
TWO DATES ARE AVAILABLE:
- I June 7 – 17: residency, exhibited till the end of August
- II October 4 – 14 : residency, exhibited till the end of the year

Please do not forget to state the preferred date of your exhibition. Multiple projects will be selected for each date, by capacity and a needs of the projects. The results will be announced within twenty days.

We provide a basic personal honorary of 40€ a day for each selected project*. We prefer new artworks created on spot or at least adapted for it. Personal attendance to the exhibition opening evening is mandatory. We gladly provide you a letter of recommendation for grant institutions or universities for further support applications.
