- We are a place that connects. The old with the new. Visual arts, film, music, and theatre. And above all – the people.
- The genius loci of the original townhouse and the decision to fill it with artistic content is what makes Třeboň 105 unique. Under one roof (and one maple tree crown), a theatre, cinema, music production, and a gallery work in synergy. In this historical setting, contemporary authors and alternative art forms are featured.
Divadlo 105
- A stable for horses a few centuries ago, the space is an open-air stage today. Our theatre stands out within the Czech theatre network not only for its concept, but also for its high-standard technical qualities. We continue in amateur theatre tradition connected with writer J.K. Tyl, yet at the same time we look into the future: we want to surprise and bring powerful experiences. Our stage features the latest in alternative and new theatre, rare puppet shows as well as the work of local creative groups.
- Our vision is to create a space for a unique presentation of theatrical productions and an incubator of artistic creation. Thanks to arts residencies, Třeboň is becoming a place for undisturbed creation and interdisciplinary encounters (we organise theatre, art and music residencies).
STUDIOS / REHEARSAL ROOMS:
- A stage in an archway 6 × 5.4 m (can be heated even in winter).
- Smaller workrooms / rehearsal rooms in the attic.
- Gallery room (if there is no exhibition scheduled).
- We do not have cushioned dance floor.
ACCOMMODATION:
- We are able to provide comfortable accommodation for 10 people in three individual rooms. We could accommodate more people based on prior arrangement. There is a small kitchen, with fridge, microwave, basic dishes, and a kettle.
SERVICES:
- CATERING – Our space is located right in the centre of Třeboň, thus all basic services are nearby. Our excellent bistro is part of the building. There is a small kitchen, with fridge, microwave, basic dishes, and a kettle.
- TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT – We have concert and cinema sound systems (surround), stage lighting system with a high-quality console, an LED screen (4 × 2 m) allowing for different positions, projection technology suitable also for video mapping on the facade of our theatre (in the courtyard), various options for connecting individual technologies and their communication. But it always depends on a group’s requirements and whether they bring their own technician or they would work with ours.
