OPEN CALL: VISEGRAD ARTISTS RESIDENCIES – PERFORMING ARTISTS RESIDENCY
The International Visegrad Fund opens Call for Visegrad Artists Residencies – Performing Artists residency. The program supports innovation, experiment and creativity in the performing arts – new drama, contemporary dance, new circus, physical theatre, visual theater, alternative theater, performance art. The program is dedicated to individual artists or groups, it is not suitable for stone theaters, already developed performances, or theater festivals.
Deadline: October 15, 2022, 12:00 (noon)
Realization: January 10, 2023 – December 31, 2023
CONDITIONS:
Each year, 4 individuals (or pairs) and 4 groups (3 or more members) are selected for 4 weeks- long residencies → i. e. 1 individual and 1 group from each V4 country.
Artists who apply for the residency program can choose any cultural institution as their host organization from a V4 country other than their citizenship or permanent residence address.
- Both individual artists (1-2 persons) and artistic groups (3 artists or more) can apply for this type of support.
- The applicant/s must be citizen from V4 country over the age of 18.
- Each applicant can get support only once per calendar year.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT:
The support is intended for both artists and host organization:
- €4,500 for individual residency (1-2 artists):€2,500 for the artist / €2,000 for the host institution
- €9,000 for group residency (3 artists or more):€5,500 for the group members / €3,500 for the host institution
