The call is open for artists in the field of theatre, contemporary dance and new circus.
We would like to offer our venue and support to artists in the field of theatre, contemporary dance and new circus. This way we want to support art and creative activities and strengthen our relationships with the artists for future co-productions and guest performances.
The call is open for individuals or groups, each residency 7-10 days long.
What we offer:
- Space for rehearsals and creative work:
Black box with dimensions of 5,5 x 7m (stage), 5,5 x 7m (auditorium). There is a possibility to dismount the elevation and make the stage space bigger. The black box is equipped with a good light and sound systems and a wooden floor with the possibility to cover by vinyl dance floor.
Rehearsal room with dimensions of 4,5 x 2,5 m (stage) and 4,5 x 7,6 m (auditorium), has a lot of natural light, sound system, a possibility to darken the space, or project on the walls.
- Technical support during the residency (light, sound, video) and an opportunity to perform in the online space (live performance in case of a positive development of the pandemic)
- Accommodation in Olomouc covered by Divadlo na cucky
What we ask for in return:
- Presenting Divadlo na cucky as a co-producer in all promotion materials of your project
- One public output of your stay in Divadlo na cucky (can be a workshop, work in progress presentation or other format)
Residencies can take place throughout the whole year 2021 (depending on the current pandemic restrictions). We prefer summer though. Particular dates to be agreed on personally.
